In case you missed it, the Detroit News editorial board described the 2024 Democrat Party Platform as “an extreme agenda that builds on the already failed progressive policies of the Biden administration.”
“The final 2024 platform for the Democratic Party, which delegates voted on this week at their national convention in Chicago, is more of the same: progressive ideas that grow government and increase dependency,” the Editorial Board wrote.
With highlights like:
“stating the party opposes right-to-work legislation”
“50% of all new passenger cars sold in the U.S. by 2030 be electric”
“an expansion of government-run health care and welfare programs that have already become unsustainable…a right to justify a massive expansion of the Affordable Care Act.”
The result?
“Democratic policies would further inhibit worker freedom through minimum wage hikes and paid leave mandates that would destroy small business owners.”
Bottom Line: Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz are dangerously liberal, and they aren’t even trying to hide it.

The final 2024 platform for the Democratic Party, which delegates voted on this week at their national convention in Chicago, is more of the same: progressive ideas that grow government and increase dependency.
It gives insight into what a Kamala Harris presidency would look like as her candidacy is directly tied to the record of President Joe Biden, whose favorability ratings have been below 40% for the past year. Yet the Democratic platform doesn’t even try to disentangle the two, not bothering to replace references to Biden as the candidate.
