For someone who hates gas powered cars, Kamala Harris sure LOVES gaslighting.
Her team is now claiming that the Vice President “does not support an electric vehicle mandate”
*insert chin scratching emoji here*
Let’s look at the facts, record, and recent history, shall we?
→ Kamala Harris supported the Zero Emission Vehicle Act of 2019.
→ During her 2020 trainwreck campaign for President, Kamala advocated for a ban of internal combustion engine cars by 2035
→ The Harris-Biden administration pushed the EPA to enact regulations that will require that ⅔ of passenger cars and light trucks sold by 2032 are electric or hybrid vehicles.
→ Her VP pick, Tim Walz, forced Minnesota to align its policies with California and the far-left state’s plan to force all new vehicles to be electric or hydrogen-powered by 2035, despite auto dealers concerns.
But, like most of Kamala’s dangerously liberal policy positions, she’s out of touch with what Americans think.
→ Recent polling shows 75% of Americans, including 56% of Democrats, oppos government regulations that would ban internal combustion and hybrid vehicles.
→ That same polling shows 82% of Americans support an “all-of-the-above” U.S. energy policy
→ 63% of Michiganders oppose the ban on gas vehicles, and 68% say a candidate’s position on stopping the government transition to EVs is important.
We’re currently taking bets on what she lies about next.
