We know there’s been some confusion, so allow us to clear the air.
Kamala Harris’ “values have not changed.” She said it herself folks.
Michigan’s autoworkers know what that means.
Plant closures. Layoffs. Job Insecurity.
The proposed Harris-Biden Administration regulations to dramatically increase electric vehicle sales by 2032 and outpace the market’s interest are expected to cost Michigan – at BEST – 25,000 jobs.
We’ve already started to feel the affects;
→ Stellantis laid off over 2,000 workers in Warren, following 199 layoffs at their Sterling Heights plant in April
→ General Motors laid off 1,300 workers in Detroit
→ Chrysler and Ford have closed major engine plants
→ Ford recently announced that they are scraping their plans for an all-electric SUV
Despite the clear-as-day foreshadowing, Kamala Harris is sticking to her dangerously liberal policies, like banning gas powered cars. That was the only answer Americans got out of her interview last night.
Let’s look at Kamala’s “values” –
→ the Zero Emission Vehicle Act of 2019
→ banning internal combustion engine cars by 2035
→ EPA regulations that require ⅔ of passenger cars and light trucks sold by 2032 to be electric or hybrid, essentially forcing an EV mandate on Americans
→ embracing radical Tim Walz’s seizing of California’s plan to force all new vehicles to be electric or hydrogen powered by 2035
*welp*
It doesn’t matter that 75% of Americans oppose government regulations that would ban internal combustion and hybrid vehicles, 82% of Americans support an “all-of the-above” U.S. energy policy, and 63% of Michiganders oppose the ban on gas vehicles.
Kamala’s “values” destroy the backbone of Michigan’s economy.
