In case you missed it, Stellantis announced hundreds of layoffs across Michigan this week. Several hundred workers at the Detroit Assembly Complex, including seasonal supplemental employees and full time employees are being cut to “improve efficiency”.
These workers built the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs.
At the Sterling Heights Assembly plant, 177 employees who build the Ram 1500 will lose their jobs by this weekend. Additional layoffs at the Toledo Assembly Complex were also announced.

We all know that improving “efficiency” is code for struggling to survive under Kalamanomics.
And yet, with all the warning sirens going off, Kamala stays quiet about whether or not she supports the biggest threat to autoworkers – electric vehicle mandates.
Bottom Line: Michigan’s economy isn’t a toy to be played with. Real livelihoods are being affected by Kamala’s game with the radical left – in fact, 37,000 minimum jobs will be lost if her “values haven’t changed” and her mandates go through.
