Oakland, MI – Today, the Trump Campaign was joined by members of Michigan’s Jewish community to reflect and remember the horrors of the October 7th terrorist attack on Israel.
October 7th was the deadliest attack against Jews since the Holocaust, and as today’s speakers highlighted, no member of the Jewish community was left untouched. Members of Michigan’s Jewish community lost sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends at the hands of Hamas’ brutality. The Harris-Biden administration’s weakness on the world stage has since failed America’s Jewish community and our only ally in the Middle East, the state of Israel.
Former Michigan State Representative Ryan Berman said the harsh truth that “the reality is, if the enemies of Israel laid down their arms, there would be peace. But if Israel laid down hers, there would be no more Israel.”
“The Biden-Harris administration will continue to prop up Iran and its proxies. Iran was bankrupt when Donald Trump was president. Iran needs to be bankrupt again,” said Rachel Baker, a native Michigander who served as an intelligence analyst in Syria for the Michigan Army National Guard.
Her father, Adam Baker, lost a cousin on October 7th. He feels betrayed by the Harris-Biden administration’s response to Israel’s retaliation.
“They said to Israel, we’ll give you money if you don’t attack Iran in a way that hurts them.…[It’s] sickening that they would say to Israel, we’re more worried about Iran than we’re worried about you.
“I pray Israel destroys Hamas, and I pray that Donald Trump is elected the 47th President of this great country,” said Adam Baker. He also noted that since 2005, every time Israel has been to war, there’s been a Democrat President in the White House.
“We are long past the time to understand that the true friend and supporter to Israel and the Jewish people is neither President Biden nor Vice President Harris…We need Donald Trump because he has proven with actions that go beyond words, that he fully understands the importance of having Israel as a proven and reliable ally in the Middle East,” said Malka Littman.
“Our choice is clear. Trump Vance for America, and for Israel,” concluded Eugene Greenstein.
