MIGOP Announces Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron as Confirmed Speaker for the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference

(Lansing, Mich.) – Attorney General for the state of Kentucky, Daniel Cameron, will join Michigan Republicans at the 34th Biennial Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference September 24-26, 2021.

“Attorney General Cameron was the first Republican elected to that statewide office in Kentucky since 1948, an achievement that is truly a testament to his unwavering conservative leadership,” said MIGOP Chair Ron Weiser. “He is a true, dedicated public servant and I am pleased to have him join our great lineup of speakers and panelists.”

Daniel Jay Cameron is the 51st Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He is the first African American independently elected to statewide office in Kentucky’s history and the first Republican elected to the Attorney General’s office since 1948. As the chief law enforcement officer for the Commonwealth, he is committed to defending the laws of the Commonwealth, protecting Kentuckians, fighting the drug epidemic, and being a voice for the voiceless, including victims of child abuse and human trafficking.
