Lansing, MI – Michigan Republican Party Chairman, Ambassador Ron Weiser, blasted known Democrat operative Mark Brewer’s attempt to influence Michigan elections to benefit Gretchen Whitmer’s run for president in two years:
“Democrats are at it again trying to meddle in our elections,” said Ambassador Ron Weiser, Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party. “Mark Brewer, the former Michigan Democrat Party Chairman, is now suing to keep our candidates from the general election ballot against Gretchen Whitmer. This Democrat overreach is nothing but a blatant attempt to shore up Gretchen Whitmer’s re-election chances to set her up to run for President after the disaster she’s been as Governor in Michigan. This extreme attempt will fail and will help us elect a Republican governor to put an end to the disaster Gretchen Whitmer and Joe Biden have been for Michigan.”
