LANSING, MICH — The Michigan Republican Party went on the offensive, exposing Gretchen Whitmer’s efforts to recast herself as a regular mom, despite forcing Michiganders into lockdowns, shutting down schools and destroying Michigan’s economy to the point where we’ve yet to see a real recovery:
“Gretchen Whitmer supports Joe Biden’s agenda, including the Build Back Broke plan that is forcing Michigan families to pay more for just about everything,” said Gustavo Portela, MIGOP Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director. “This attempt to re-write herself into a good leader delivering isn’t true. She closed down schools, she shuttered small businesses and the reason we’re in the mess we’re in is partly because of her. Voters will see past her deception and will vote her out of office this fall.”
