LANSING, MICH — The Michigan Republican Party released the following statement criticizing Gretchen Whitmer’s latest campaign ad as deceitful:
“Once again, Gretchen Whitmer is trying to deceive Michiganders into thinking she is one of them,” said Gustavo Portela, MIGOP Deputy Chief of Staff & Communications Director. “Taxpayers subsidize her housing so she pays zero in rent, taxpayers subsidize her travel so she pays zero in gas. This is the same person that vetoed crucial inflation relief and now claims she can’t solve the problems. We will hold her accountable for her lies to working class voters and this fall ensure she’s voted out of office.”
