GRAND RAPIDS, MICH — Michigan Republicans held their first endorsement convention in Grand Rapids, selecting nominees for various offices this fall. Ambassador Ron Weiser, Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party issued the following statement:
“Republicans rallied around candidates for various offices yesterday including Attorney General and Secretary of State earlier than we normally do. This gives Republicans an advantage to expose Dana Nessel and Jocelyn Benson for the terrible politicians that they are, drunk on power. We’re poised to win, and we will this fall. Change is coming to Michigan and retirement is coming for Gretchen Whitmer, Dana Nessel and Jocelyn Benson.”
