LANSING, MICH – The Michigan Republican Party released the following statement after nearly 70 percent of Michigan voters said they think the country is on the wrong track:
“It’s clear Michigan voters are frustrated with the Democrat double speak from Gretchen Whitmer and Joe Biden given nearly 70 percent believe the country is headed in the wrong direction,” said Gustavo Portela, MIGOP Deputy Chief of Staff & Communications Director. “For years, Gretchen Whitmer said she was going to fix the damn roads and if there’s one thing that all Michiganders can virtually agree on, it is that the status of the roads are terrible because she’s yet to fix them. Joe Biden, along with Gretchen Whitmer, campaigned claiming they would help Michigan families, but all Michiganders are seeing right now are their bank accounts drained as a result of policies and actions from Joe Biden and Gretchen Whitmer. Fortunately, we can put an end to this long nightmare in November by electing Republicans up and down the ballot.”
