LANSING, MICH — The Michigan Republican Party today issued a statement regarding a recent article by the Washington Free Beacon which exposed Gretchen Whitmer for lying to Michiganders about the jobs she supposedly created in Michigan:
“Gretchen Whitmer has been lying about job growth and the chickens are coming home to roost,” said Gustavo Portela, MIGOP Deputy Chief of Staff And Communications Director. “We’re not going to let her fail upwards like Democrats typically like to do. We’re going to continue to expose her for the inconsistent, incompetent, and ineffective chief executive she’s been during the last four years in office. We’re not going to let her get away with lying to Michiganders. This November, Michiganders will fire Whitmer and saw off the political ladder she’s been so desperately climbing.”
