MIGOP Releases Statement Following Whitmer, Candidate Disclosures of Campaign Contributions

(Lansing, Mich.) – Michigan Republican Party Communications Director Gustavo Portela released the following statement after candidates released campaign fundraising numbers on Monday:

“Our candidates will continue to post strong fundraising numbers, speaking to the enthusiasm behind retiring out-of-touch Gretchen Whitmer,” said Gustavo Portela, MIGOP Communications Director. “Our candidates would have raised even more if they were given the opportunity to play by the same corrupt rules as Gretchen Whitmer. We’ll continue to fight for fairness and give our candidates an even playing field.”
