LANSING, MICH – The Michigan Republican Party issued the following statement as Gretchen Whitmer’s failed policies force more jobs to be cut:
“Another devastating blow to Michigan’s economy thanks to Democrat policies led by Gretchen Whitmer,” said Gustavo Portela, MIGOP Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director. “Gretchen Whitmer promised she would create jobs but instead has driven them away from our state or forced businesses to cut jobs altogether thanks to her policies. She’s proven incapable of reeling in the big fish to invest in Michigan. It’s time we move past the long nightmare that Gretchen Whitmer has been in Michigan and elect Tudor Dixon to bring back opportunity and prosperity for all.”
