Statement from MRP Chairman Ron Weiser Congratulating State Reps. Doug Wozniak, Mark Huizenga on Special Election Primary Wins
(Lansing, Mich.) – Michigan Republican Party Chairman Ron Weiser released the following statement regarding Wozniak and Huizenga’s victories in Michigan Senate special election primary races:
“Representatives Wozniak and Huizenga will lead with the principles that make our party great, and I congratulate them on their primary victories. Michiganders need legislators who will protect their tax dollars, support law enforcement, and hold big government accountable.”
“Voters across Michigan continue to reject the Democrat party’s motto of ‘rules for thee, not for me’ and their divisive agenda. I look forward to working with both Wozniak and Huizenga to defeat their Democrat opponents in November, in a preview of what is to come in 2022.”
